Carl has 34 years of successful business experience. He is currently the President and Owner of The Risk Management Group and a Principal of Risk Management Company.

In addition, Carl brings 19 years of experience and expertise in financial management.

• 13 years with a national company, as First Vice President and Regional Manager, responsible for providing financing to middle market companies in the Pacific Northwest.
• 6 years as General Manager for a Portland-based company providing financing for trucking companies nationally.

Frank Lemma

Frank has more than 35 years experience in risk management services. His background includes human resources consulting, workers compensation insurance and employee benefit management, including design, implementation, tracking, and administration. He is also a Principal of Risk Management Company.

Frank brings a well-rounded background to our clients:

• 21 years as an independent insurance broker/agent and consultant to various employers with an emphasis on the auto industry, trucking, beverage distribution, restaurants, and construction.
• Formed The Risk Management Group, a human resources, safety and risk management, and insurance consulting firm for employers.
• General Manager for five automobile franchises in Oregon. Designed and implemented risk management programs including human resources training and implementation.
• Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a northwest insurance company specializing in workers compensation. Management responsibilities extended to four western states with 125 employees in the sales and marketing department.

Frank’s expertise in the areas of human resource, safety and loss control, and claims management is invaluable to our clients. He specializes in working with small- to medium-sized companies, helping to reduce their workers compensation costs and manage employee benefit plans, and providing human resources consulting.

Mike McAdam

Mike has over 31 years experience in risk management. His background includes Claims Management, Credit Management, and Workers Compensation Insurance.

Mike‘s established background in Workers Compensation for the last 25 years includes:

• 6 years as Manager of Disability Claims with an emphasis on the American Medical Association (Long Term Disability for Physicians).
• 7 years as Senior Account Executive with SAIF Corporation with an emphasis on Sales and Retention.
• 18 years as Senior Account Executive with Liberty Northwest Insurance with an emphasis on Sales and Retention.

Mike is our Senior Account Executive, specializing in helping companies reduce their workers compensation and health insurance costs with some of the lowest rates in the insurance industry. His focus includes coordination of claims management, return to work, loss control, and Industrial Hygiene.

Joyce has over 25 years experience in employee benefits management with an emphasis on employer-sponsored health and welfare plans – including design, implementation, tracking, and administration.

The diverse background that Joyce brings to our customers includes:

• 15 years as Benefit Program Manager for a large international company.
• 6 years working with Oregon health insurance companies in project planning/management and marketing.
• 6 years as a producer and manager of an Insurance Agency.

Joyce’s experience with benefit programs in both the corporate world and the insurance world uniquely equips her to provide our clients with an effective understanding of health insurance. It has also given her the ability to develop a “road map” for your business’ future in employee benefits.

• 10 years as service program coordinator and national training leader for a national non-profit organization, managing volunteer staff.
