RMG manages Unemployment Claims by monitoring claims
processing; providing employer representation during hearings; conducting appeals, and
issuing quarterly reports regarding initial liability, chargeable liability and tax
status.
Monitor
Claims Processing
- Review all written documentation, including Termination
Summary, Written Warnings, etc.
- Determine whether or not there is misconduct.
- Maintain reporting time tables.
- File necessary paperwork with the Employment Department.
Personal
Guidance and Support Systems
- Select and prepare witnesses before the hearing.
- Semi-Annual Reports - initial liability,
chargeable liability, tax status, favorable decisions/unfavorable
decisions, decision pending.
Financial
Data
- Document and review the outcome of each hearing.
- Semi-Annual Reports - initial liability,
chargeable liability, tax status, favorable decisions/unfavorable
decisions, decision pending.
Training
and Growth Development
- Review and develop personnel practices.
- Train and implement hiring, evaluation, discipline and
termination programs.
- Personalize all programs and policies to department needs.
- Review and implement updates in Unemployment Law.
